Premium email services (such as Gmail and Mail.com), are available at no cost and offer an array of functionalities, including the ability to create multiple email addresses, abundant storage space, and a wide variety of tools. Additionally, these services are portable, meaning you can keep your email address should you ever move out of Sparklight’s service area. For organizations, businesses, and non-profits, we highly recommend obtaining a website with a custom domain name and email. Not only do hosting services provide your business or organization with a more professional look, but they also allow you to advertise to the world.
Customers received 60 days’ notice before email service was discontinued in their area to allow enough time for a successful transition. During the 60-day window, multiple follow-up notices were sent via social media accounts along with reminders with helpful instructions on how to download existing emails and contacts; how to set up a new email account; and how to upload emails to your new email account. Our goal is to make this process as easy and seamless as possible.
